5Really love it  Jul 30, 2010
It's really rare for me to write a review, but I feel I need to in the case of this watch. It's awesome! Admittedly, it is my first heart rate monitor watch, but it really does what it's supposed to do. I've had it for about a month now and haven't encountered any real problems.

Pros: Easy to use
Easy to read
Constant heart rate updating
Not too bulky
Chest strap is comfortable
Tracks tons of useful information (calories burned, time in specific zones, max heart rate, etc)

Cons: Sometimes the heart rate monitor turns off if the strap isn't wet enough
I paid about $5 more a month ago than it is currently priced (no one's fault, though)

I love this watch and would highly recommend it to anyone!

4Easy to use  Jul 18, 2010
It works as stated. I bought this watch because of the reviews and functionality of the watch. I wanted to keep track of calories during the day. Set up was easy, just read the instructions fully and it is simple. You can enter your weight, maximum heart rate, etc, for the calorie tracker. It is handy to keep you in the zone that you want to be working out in. I never knew I was actually working out too hard to get the results I wanted. So it has made my workouts much more efficient.

The chest strap is actually comfortable, not bulky, and connects to my watch in just a second or two. I haven't had any problems with the connection, like others have had, but I am assuming that is because I don't have really tight abs yet.

I am not sure about the calorie tracker yet, it seems to state I burn a lot of calories, so not sure how accurate it is. I have been adding the heart rate, etc, into an online system of figuring calories and they seem to be right on with each other. I am just finding it hard to believe that I burn that many calories in a day. Maybe I do? Who knows.

Anyhow, It was a steal of a price, I got it on sale for $38. Sweeet deal.

1heart rate monitor wrist watch  Jul 14, 2010
i ordered this to monitor my heart rate and did not know you had to strap a sensor around your chest. tried using it but readings were so erratic i returned it for a refund. I was actually looking for a replacement type i had in the past that monitored your pulse on the wrist and also kept time.

5Excellent, basic, heart rate monitor  Jul 13, 2010
I have used my heart rate monitor six times running on the track in the last two weeks. It's really easy to use, adjustable strap sensor and wrist watch. So far, no complaint whatsoever. Would buy one again. Highly recommending this product. No bells or whistles, but it gets the job done and it is reliable. Thank you, Amazon, for carrying this product and the fast shipping.

5works like a charm  Jul 06, 2010
I have had the Timex for a month and use it almost every day. It is easy to use and seems to work perfectly. While I am still learning how to incorporate all of the features into my daily routine, I am very pleased with this product's performance.
